AS-Level

The Advanced Subsidiary General Certificate of Education (or AS-Level) is a qualification first introduced in 2001. Its level is approximately midway between GCSE and A-Level and forms the first half of the Advanced GCE (A-Level) course in terms of teaching time and content.

There are two different exams for AS-Level Dutch, the 'old' format and the 'new' format.

We recommend that your study towards the 'new' format exam, unless you are retaking an 'old' format paper to gain a higher mark.
