GCSE
We run two GCSE Dutch Classes, one for adults and one for children. Classes are kept to a maximum of 7 students.
Adults:
We run a 31 hour part-time GCSE Dutch course each year at our
school in Oxford for adults starting at the end of September. This course is
for those who have attended the equivalent of about 50 to 60 hours of
Dutch lessons. It is also suitable for adults who have
grown up in Dutch or Flemish families, or who have lived for extended
periods in the Netherlands or Flemish speaking Belgium.
This courses is designed to prepare you for your GCSE
Dutch examinations and is aimed at achieving top grades. It closely
follows the topics and grammar
from the National Curriculum for GCSE Dutch. This is an intensive
GCSE course to be completed in one academic year.
Children:
We run a 29 hour part-time GCSE Dutch class for Dutch speaking children who would like to prepare for their GCSE Dutch exams. This course focuses on writing, grammar, and exam training, and includes mock exams. This class would suit children entering year 10 or year 11 in September 2008.
