Beginners 3 (evening class)

We run a 10 week part-time beginners 3 Dutch course every term at our school in Oxford for those who have attended the equivalent of about 20 hours of Dutch lessons.

This course includes travel and travel accessories, holidays, hobbies and spare time, going out, theatres and shows, films and music. Also included are writing letters, adjectives, comparatives, superlatives, diminutive, the simple past tense, the past perfect tense, the past tense of the verbs 'hebben' and 'zijn', and the future tense.

This course is for you if you plan to visit Belgium or the Netherlands, you need to use Dutch at work, you want to talk to Dutch family or friends, or you have an interest in the Dutch language or the Dutch and Flemish cultures.

Classes are kept to a maximum of 7 students.

Course dates:

In addition to the lessons you will be given 30 to 60 minutes of homework to complete between lessons.

What you will need before starting this course:
• A beginners level in Dutch equivalent to about 20 to 25 hours of Dutch lessons.

If you cannot make one of the dates, don't worry, your teacher will give you all the course material from the missed lesson so that you can catch up. You may also book additional private tuition with your teacher at any time.
