The A-Level Dutch exam consists of two examination papers, the AS paper and the A2 paper. This course is designed to prepare you for the A2 paper and is for students who have already taken the AS paper or who only want a course for the A2 paper.

This course is designed to be completed in one academic year and forms the second half of our two year A-level Dutch course. Each lesson takes between two and four hours of study to complete. You may study at your own pace and send in your homework assignments when you are ready. The course is delivered in three parts. Part 2 and part 3 will be delivered on completion of the preceding part. Please note that there are no listening or speaking activities in this course as the A2 paper consists only of reading, writing, and translation questions.

We usually recommend that students begin this course in the autumn, say in September or October, to prepare for exams the following summer. However, you may start any time from the end of July until the beginning of January. The very latest starting date is the second week of January provided you have the equivalent of an A grade at AS-Level and are prepared to complete 2 lessons per week.

This course is suitable for adults and children from the age of about 16.

The 2009-2010 version of this course will become available for shipping from 19 July 2009 onwards.
